It's made from two layers of 1.1 oz. 20D ripstop nylon fabric with an open pocket to hold a foam or inflatable pad. The additional layer helps withstand freezing temps and helps provide bug protection.

Unique Double Layer Hammock Construction

Extra strong double-layered nylon hammock bed has an internal sleeve that can hold a foam or inflatable pad for more comfort and back insulation.

Our lightest portable hammock is made with 1.1 oz ripstop nylon, which is more durable than traditional parachute hammocks. The total weight in the sack is 1.65lbs with 2 layers of hammock bed and suspension. Only 215g/7.6oz for one layer hammock bed.

The adjustable UHMWPE ridgeline lets you increase or decrease the length of the ridgeline to control the amount of sag the hammock has for added comfort.
